Officials searching for missing plane near Polk County (FL)

AVON PARK -- Members of the U.S. Military and the Highlands County Sheriff's Office are searching for a missing plane. Crews spent Wednesday night combing a swampy area near Avon Park where the aircraft is suspected of going down. The continuing search is taking place in the area of Dressel Road and Old Bombing Range Road just southeast of Polk County.
