Boeing is protective of their new-built 777 freighters, thus a price for conversion is offered that does not make sense to do, from an airline's point of view. NO worries- there are several other companies capable of the work, with no concern over the price of new freighers, rather just looking to capture some of this work, most certainly less than Boeing wants to charge.
