Boeing Begins Production of 777X Aircraft

Submitted
Last week, Boeing celebrated the official kickoff of production of its 777X wide-body jet. The 777X aircraft is a large-sized twin-engine passenger aircraft currently being developed by Boeing as a successor to the existing 777, with plans for its first flight in 2019 and delivery of the first plane in 2020. Boeing’s two 777X variants, the 777-8 and 777-9, are designed to carry between 350 and 425 passengers. The new jets are expected to be 20 percent more fuel-efficient. Boeing gets on the track to compete with European major Airbus. Hope to see a new design in the markets by the American Company. Now its really a better scope for all aviation industry related companies to make the most of the time when aviation demand is in its all time high.

But with Boeing wanting all these airlines to buy the Dreamliner, I wonder how they're going to convince them to buy the 777x?

The smallest 777X seats more passengers than the largest 787. Airlines will choose the airframe that best meets their needs.
