Boeing is playing a dangerous game. They are throwing a load of excrement against the wall to see if anything sticks but finding out that there are likely to be unintended consequences. While the Eurofighter or the Griffin could fill Canada's needs cancelling the F/A 18 is small stuff. Air Canada and WestJet have 131 Boeing aircraft on order which could be treated similarly to the 75 C-100's purchased by Delta. Now we are looking at a major hit to Boeing if those two companies re-examine those contracts.
