Air Force predicts Boeing tankers will be delayed until 2018

The Air Force predicts it will not receive the first of the new Boeing-made KC-46 tankers until late spring of 2018, a new possible delay for the long overdue program. Following an annual Air Force schedule risk assessment on the tanker, the service said that the originally planned September delivery will likely be pushed back at least several months.
