Submitted
Air India has begun selling female-only seat sections. The restriction will apply to the front row of six seats on economy flights and comes after reports some women were being groped by other passengers. A general manager from Air India told The Hindu they wanted to reassure passengers who were traveling alone. (www.bbc.co.uk) More...

Gropers in India are called "eve teasers" and are commonly found on city busses and elsewhere where bodies are in close proximity. But in an airplane? I knew of an American woman in Delhi who carried a handy hat pin on busses. When groped she'd stick it into the fellow.

I agree... might be an issue but this is a bit much. The only reasoning for it may be is because now days you cant take a pin on a plane. But I don't think anyone that gropes people would have the money to be on a plane.

I'm glad you don't think they would have the money, but unfortunately, they do.

For example, consider this in our own backyard, when it is a prominent, 4-time republican lawmaker from Connecticut:

He didn't grope, he pinched...
