Was it the BRAND of aircraft that had three other landing gear problems, or this airplane by serial number?

I was on one those flights last week. DAL2969, it was one of those old DC95's Delta pulled off the shelf recently. I was asleep en route to Jackson MS when the pilot came over the intercom. He said we would be returning to ATL for maintenance, the front wheel had never come up after take off. Nerve racking? absolutely, but more a pain in the rear. We we're only another 15 mintues from JAN!!! 6 hours late getting home that night. Everyone stayed calm, the landing went fine and they found us another ride home.

Headline and synopsis are totally misleading. Reading the entire article shows that its three incidents for the entire fleet, not just this plane and not just ASA/Delta planes.

"...aircraft from the company that made a jetliner..." So they are saying Bombardier Inc. has only had three landing gear problems with ANY plane they've built?
