Remembering the father of the A-10 Warthog

Nice tribute to Col. Avery Kay by his civilian partner in development of the A-10 giving the inside story of the politics involved at the time and the Air Force already opposed to this warplane. They only agreed to develop it under the threat of giving it to the Army to do so. Seems nothing changes. (edition.cnn.com) More...
