Emirates Orders 30 More Boeing 777-300ER

Boeing received a blockbuster order from Middle East carrier Emirates this morning, as the carrier kicked off the bi-annual Farnborough Airshow by placing an order for 30 Boeing 777-300ER jets. This morning's 777 order adds to Emirates' fleet of 71 777s previously ordered, of which 53 aircraft are in service. (travel.usatoday.com) More...

This is definitely going to generate a lot of cheers in Seattle! And you're kidding about the Emirates fleet being huge, ebtweenthe number of 777's and A-380s they will have.

Definitely very agressive about being #1...do they have enough hangars, etc. Alot of planning still due ahead.
