First aircraft arrives Colombian mission to Antarctica

After more than 14 flight hours and more than 7,500 kilometers from Bogota to King George Island, the Hercules C-130 FAC 1005 Colombian Air Force arrived with 13 commissioned officers of the institution to Antarctica. The journey that began on January 29 included stops in Antofagasta, Santiago and Punta Arenas in Chile; the Colombian Air Force confirmed that successfully reached the Antarctic continent.
