Is that a cropduster leading him in? Looks like he got a smoke marker from it. Didn't know they did that.

It is one of 14 OV-10s that Calfire uses to lead tankers to where they want the drop.
If you listen to the sound, the OV-10 says 'I want it right here' when hitting the smoke.
