Is the 787 Coverup Exposing the FAA’s Failure to Protect the Flying Public? [OPINION]

As a former FAA Inspector I have seen first hand how the agency covers up problems and keeps them from the American people. Even if the 787 flies again soon, how can FAA allow the airliner to fly long distance flights over water? (airnation.net) More...

Plus, is the FAA suposed to hold a press conference everytime they issue an AD? Problems and issues are all over their website, not hiding from anyone. Even non-AD related issues submitted by mechanics can be found on there. Yeah, just looking for hi 15 minutes, if he even gets THAT much.
