A private charters group is building a new facility at SYR. This may lower landing costs due to the extra revenue generated which might entice low cost airlines, which in my opinion is doubtful but we'll see. (www.syracuse.com) More...

In other Syracuse news, both US Airways and Delta are upgrading their service to Charlotte and Atlanta, respectively of course. US upgrades its a319 to an a320, while delta upgrades its MD88 and CRJ900 flights to a 737-800 and a319.
