A Delta Airlines Boeing 777-200, registration N705DN performing flight DL-201 from Johannesburg (South Africa) to Atlanta,GA (USA), was enroute over the Atlantic Ocean when the crew decided to divert to to Ascension Island [FHAW] for a safe landing due to an engine (GE90) problem. A replacement Boeing 777-200 registration N703DN is currently enroute to Ascension Island as flight DAL-9978 and is currently estimated to reach Atlanta with a delay of 27 hours. Normal flight experience. Thanks to the flight team that safely landed this large bird (Boeing 777-200) at Ascension Island [FHAW]

Could not agree more... South Atlantic is a pretty lonely place to have to declare an IFE.
