I met Tom twenty years ago and remember when he flew to every domestic United location in one year and received the next year's travel at no charge..that was a feat!

First off @ Michael Fuq..
Of course he lives somewhere! He lives on a 747!

I just found this on CNN as an add-on to [this story http://www.cnn.com/2011/TRAVEL/07/11/united.ten.million.miles/index.html?eref=mrss_igoogle_cnn]

I am no where near Jeff but I do my fair share (1.5M per for past 15 years) and you know what? It isn't worth it. I was never home and I have suffered for it. Somebody like that has my sympathy and my heart goes out to him....

Chris, if you do 1.5M per year for 15 years, wouldn't you be at 22M?

Wow. This guy works hard. I hope his company thinks as highly of him as UAL does. Great story. Glad you posted it.

He definitely deserves good money from his company...after all, he's never home! Note: Wonder what the bonus mileage is when you hit that level of frequent flyer?

Maybe he just likes TSA security patdowns.

True Up in the Air story. Maybe they'll make another movie.
