Airbus Concerned About "Adverse Impact" Over Qatar Airways Suit
Airbus’ ongoing dispute with Qatar Airways has it worried about the impact on the company’s reputation as the court cases related to the A350s drag on. The plane maker has been at loggerheads with the Middle East carrier regarding the paint issues of the A350 aircraft. Airbus needs to admit fault (because it is indeed their paint screw-up) settle the suit and get over it!
Still puzzled as to why only one airline considers it a major problem.
Maybe another airplane maker gives them kickbacks to do it?
Airbus is right to warn shareholders about this dispute, but Qatar Airways should also be concerned that their ability to play Airbus against Boeing may be impacted in the future.
Hectic way for Airbus to handle this claim ! So far they were sitting firm on their position, and taking the unusual step to delete a major order from a major, even nasty, customer,and now they go publicly whining this could hurt them and their results !
