It's good to see the business aviation sector on the upswing once again. I was at NBAA last week and the mood is definitely more optimistic. Let's hope the momentum continues. All the best to Eclipse and the other VLJ manufacturers breaking new ground.
Show me where is the potty. You can´t fly it more than 15 minutes away from an airport or the mere 4 passengers might suffer from a severe case of cramps (for lack of a beter word) and to pay a cool $ 3 million for the privilege?; that is why the air taxi outfit in Florida that "purchased" 200-300 Eclipses went bankrupt. You can buy a B90 in real top condition for $1 to 1.3 million, flying a few knots slower, but it has a toilette, offers plenty more legroom and 50% more payload. Mr. Holland is daydreaming that he can sell that many copies.
You can get a phenom 100 with more seats, and a potty for about the same mulla.
Markus that is why I wonder the rationale of Robert Woody
Robert Woody that if the Eclipse drops dead i would be a shame as it would never rise to its proper place in history. Unless Markus or a close relative work for the manufacturer, I don't see any rational reason.

What this article doesn't say is that eclipse has moved production of the basic airframes overseas. While final assembly will be done in New Mexico for the time being, the company has indicated production could be moved closer to the eventual markets (read that China & India). Another mfg moving out!
Fool me once, shame on you.....Fool me twice......Are you kidding me? Good luck.
