Feels an unnecessary waste of public cash. It’s not the arse end of Alaska. Go to a busier airport.

This new route between Jackson, Tennessee and Atlanta is an “orphan”route: neither city has any other connection to Denver Air Connection’s route system. Will they dedicate aircraft solely to serve this route? Will they deadhead aircraft to and from this new service? Will they add another route between Jackson and a point on their existing map (Chicago, DFW perhaps)?

Dunno. Will have to wait and see. I have flown on both verrsions - 328 and jet.. I don't see the need for jet service btwn Jackson and Atlanta.

A lot of negativity on this thread, LOL ! If you don't like it, don't fly with them. The folks buying a ticket are obviously liking this.

Denver Air Connection files all of their routes as being flown by J328 aircraft, but most of the time, they are using a E145 aircraft on the route.
The smaller aircraft designation gives them more flexibility in scheduling between their two aircraft types.
I flew them last week, I had no complaints, the service is really personal. They give you full size candy bars/jerky/chips and full size drinks on the plane too.

Is there a high demand for this route? I've never been to Jackson and can only image there's not much traffic or need between the two, especially from a Denver airline.

If I recall correctly, the 328 climbs like a rocket, but can't get out of it's own way when at cruise - much to the annoyance of ATC! Hopefully someone tells the ATC folk what's coming!
