US Air Force Deploys Over 24 KC-135 and KC-46 Tankers to Europe

Submitted
In a major strategic redeployment, more than 24 U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotankers and KC-46 Pegasus aerial refueling aircraft crossed the Atlantic on the night of June 16, 2025. The unusual mass movement of tanker aircraft departed from North America and headed eastbound, with flight patterns suggesting a coordinated redeployment rather than routine operations, according to military analysts. Wait a minute! During the campaign, Trump promised that there would be no wars during his administration. Of course, he also stated that he’d end the Ukraine War in one day. He will do anything to stay in the spotlight because he is an egomaniac, and a bully. He really does not worry about campaign promises because he, and other candidates will say and promise anything to be elected. The fact that he know that he cannot run again, means he does not need to worry about being popular, and the Supreme Court has made him all but infallible. I see World War III as a real possibility.

As a Marine grunt, this country still hasn't learned from Korea, Vietnam, Somalia, Iraq and Afghanistan. If Congress doesn't have the balls to declare war, stay the hell away and support only those countries who are willing to risk the lives of their own citizens (like Ukraine) versus American. All we need is WWIII because two ego-maniacs (Trump and Putin) decide to duke it out.

The country will never learn……..USA has to be in or supportive of ANY conflict to pay off the military industrial complex. Look back at history and open your eyes…..

You're correct. The military industrial complex(MIC) wants to keep this country in a war(s). In the late 1950s, Ike warned about letting the MIC get too strong. But, we didn't listen and after all of those years we keep getting involved in conflicts that we don't have any business being in.

As a Vietnam Veteran grunt, my eyes are WIDE open. It pains me to see to see a monument memorializing 58,000+ lives lost for nothing. Then add those lost in the other mentioned conflicts. All lost because Congress didn't have balls to declare war.

Just because something has been done incorrectly in the past doesn't mean it should be accepted, much less tolerated, with more American lives paying the price in vain. Wringing one's hands and saying "Look at history" is like being in a car headed for a canyon and doing nothing. Put on the damn brakes!

Fully agree with Alan Zielinski.

Logic suggests the the best anecdote for a $45 million parade flop is a middle east war.

How can you uninformed people speculate without a shred of accurate intelligence? Everyone wants to spew an opinion but without any basis of fact to support it. Do any of you have clearance to any intelligence with which to base your opinions?
These mindless opinions serve no purpose other than to make fools think someone is listening to them. Be productive.

Right. They are just flying over there because it seems fun. At the exact moment that the President is musing about whether or not to kill a foreign leader. Totally a weird coincidence and nobody knows anything.

How did your brain get so big? Steroids?

Wait, don’t tell me…a MAGA-maniac. You will validate anything Trump says because you see him doing no wrong. I don’t think bunker bombs being dropped on Iraq was a diplomatic act, do you. I find it amusing to read that you believe that ‘mindless fools think someone is listening to them.” Yet, you certainly listened because you responded, thus with your reasoning, you must also qualify as a mindless fool.

Gerald, you're absolutely right, but you needn't waste your time trying to reason with these libtards. They use the wind energy of their own hot air for their powers of "reason." I don't want to sanction stupidity as our national past time, but you can always count on a game of Stupid on these comment pages.

The most likely scenario is that they were doing in-flight refueling for IDF aircraft. Ordnance ladden IDF aircraft didn't have have the range to attack Iranian targets and make it back to Israel and Israel has a very limited in-flight refueling capability. They also refueled US aircraft once they were involved.

Those B-2s and their escorts were going to need refuelling on their way to and from Iran.

Welcome one and all. Can we avoid "incontinent ordnance" this time please?

We can always try, but in war there are no guarantees.

For sure Daniel, the best strategy is to support the IDF with our best aircraft, missiles and weapons, plus apply pressure to Iran by using our carriers and AF assets, and let the regional conflict remain regional and avoid any losses or American lives.

You’re talking about using our military assets to attack Iran, but without interfering in a regional conflict, and no Americans will die.

Holy cow! Why are you not in charge of the whole damned thing?
KansasCityGreek
I agree 100%. Now that we have dropped several “Bunker Buster” bombs, I know that our military stationed in the Middle East will certainly face attacks and other retaliation. It is a sad certainty that some will die. Likewise, Iraqi fanatics living in the United States could also indeed start terror acts here.
