One of the BEST $100 hamburger places in the country. I've flown numerous passengers to JGG and teh highlight was always lunch on the airfield at Charly's. They have excellent food. I often came in for fuel during flight training, and we were always promptly fueled. I never had any issue coming through here, and I would definitely recommend Williamsburg as a stop if you are transitioning through the mid-Atlantic. It's also very close to Colonial Williamsburg and the attractions. The runway is somewhat up-sloping and there is a landfill at the end, which is notorious for having some wind shear associated on windy days. Piper Cherokee Arrow |
