Superb motion panning; emphasizes the motion perfectly; WELL DONE :-)

What a great shot, nice collection you have on your FlightAware profile.

Hard to believe that they can generate that much power from an engine that can lay on my dining room table.
Matt Smith
Remember J Wood: there are 2 in there.

I'm impressed by the 50 ish year old design - and still going strong with no trainers yet to replace it (T7 in development...) reminds me of certain "alleged" Lockheed products somewhere in my pile (and yet I will look for it) I have an SR-71 standing on its shock diamonds at the last (1998?) Edwards AFB it flew at.

beautifully timed panning!

62 years old, and still 'state of the art'. What an incredible airplane. Great action shot!

These were hot stuff when I signed the line in the late 60's and still are.
Alan Hume
The engine might fit your dining room table Joe but there are two of them! A great design that defies ageing! One of the classics! Cheap as chips and so reliable. That's why NASA still uses them.

Excellent shot

T38! I remember watching them fly chase on the SR-71 at Beale, ages ago when I was up there as an FSR for Lockheed. Beautiful little bird.
Michael Lawson
Any idea why this guy hops from Amarillo, Sheppard, Phoenix all the time?
Mark Hanneman
A beautiful aircraft with a rich history of training USAF pilots...
