Does anyone know why they went back to the 744 from the 772, and no reason to stop at PHX for "top-off" of fuel now, due to SAN rnwy length?I haven't been following them for awhile, and just noticed the A/C change!

Jim, PHX has a BA 744 as a daily service to LHR. They no longer do the stop at PHX and then over to SAN.

Great Photo. I live in Chula Vista, Ca and every evening British Airways non-stop flight freom Heathrow, Flight 273, Boeing 747-400, comes over my home at 6:00pm, give or take ten to fifteen minutes at 212 mph at about 2400ft. 10 x 50 Nikon binoculars bring it really close for a lot of detail. Get to check out the landing gear deployment.
