N80217 i registered to a Grob glider. Why can't you people recognize a USAF serial number for what it is?????

Flight Aware changes it to an N number. I put it in as 80-217.

Jack, FA's program looks for 6 numerals. Adds the "N" if it only sees five. Try reentering it as 800217. No dash mark; just the six numerals. Not sure if it will accept the change but it can't hurt to try. BTW .... Ultra-awesome click. *****+++

Indiana Air Guard at Fort Wayne, In. None the less. A really nice shot of the "Wart-Hog"! So ugly you just have to love it!

Ukraine could really use 40 or so of these right now. Pilots too. “Flying Tigers” shark teeth and all.

Very, very cool photo. It looks so bad**s even when it's still not even off the ground with gear up.

Nice shot, Jack! Here is more info from Joe Baugher's website:

80-0217, Fairchild Republic A-10A Thunderbolt II, (MSN A10-0567) to AMARC as AC0188 Sep 24, 1998. Converted to A-10C. Returned to service May 24, 1999 By 2016 with 163rd FS, 122nd FW with Indiana ANG at Fort Wayne IAP, 163rd FS Active jun11 jun19 IN ANG TDY MD ANG aug14.

So, following up on what Gary said, the actual SN for this a/c is 80-0217. If you just enter those six digits FA should recognize it as a military SN. It should enter a "-" automatically. If not, you can try entering it manually. Anyway, good luck and keep up the good work!
