ANGELO DROUTSAS, haha no I wouldn't fly a drone over the airport. It was taken from a Robinson R22 helicopter in an authroized area about 1500 feet above the airport.

A very fast chopper, to keep up with an A380's approach and landing.

Kerry Ahearn, I know you think these are Photoshopped. They aren't. There are 2 authorized areas over the airport. Area 2 and Area 4. These were taken from Area 2, circling in a constant pattern inside the terminals. And from that comment you obviously don't understand how cameras work. We were stopped in one spot, and the plane flew past us. I adjusted my zoom to meet the needs for how close the plane was or what angle I wanted. I couldn't see anywhere near the whole approach, just the final mile or so. If you provide me with your email, I can send you the originals. If you even want them, I can send you the shots from the entire landing sequence that I could see.
