Because there's very little new that I can get it's archive time. On one trip to Sydney with my trusty Kodak Instamatic I saw a few 707s at KSA including this one. From some other info I got, I reckon this was late 1971. Then there are the fashions of the day.
Five for the Qantas ... five for the fashion of the day ... and perhaps a perfect ten there, too.
Thanks Gary. Many fashions were good but then came the 80s - say no more.
JAL DC-8 Super 62 in the background.
The DC8 Super 62 of JAL (and a few other carriers) had ultra long range for it's time. Around 6000 miles.
Ah, observation decks, I remember them well, and sadly that's all they are these days, memories.
