I was flying Athens to Philadelphia. We were 1000 feet above them on the North Atlantic track and slowly gaining on them. When we got over top of them I asked them to offset one mile right (A one or two mile offset from the Track is standard procedure). I was heading back to take my break so I shot from the rear cockpit window as they slid out from beneath us, only 1000 feet away. This aircraft was the Paris to Philadelphia flight. Our position was between 30 and 40 West and we were at 37,000 feet. This is the best shot I have ever taken on the North Atlantic.

There is something special about seeing an airliner in cruise, it's rare to see for us non-pilots and they are in their element, majestic. Fantastic shot Tom!
