While on many fishing vacations, in Alpine Junction Wyoming in the 70's I heard many stories from a fellow named Dallas Clinger born and raised in Alpine Junction, Wyoming. He flew these P-40's with the Black sheep sqdn. in the phillipines before the War. there's a great story about him If you search the web.
