Serious question, as I have never posted here. I'm viewing the FlightAware Weekly Aviation News & Photo Newsletter. What you say is true, there are two photos of this aircraft included.

Is this newsletter version of the photo gallery an edited selection, or do any uploads made automatically get included? Are the first two dozen included? Something else?

I personally don't mind seeing different views of the same aircraft, but I just don't now how the system works.

come on Doug, stop your whining every week and just enjoy the pictures.
Have you ever considered that other people enjoy being able to view an airplane from a different point of view???
Bruce Graham
Not to be picky, but this is actually an Agusta-Westland AW139, or now known as the Leonardo AW139. Bell Helicopter pulled out of the program about the same time they gave up on the Agusta 609 tilt rotor. Too bad, both nice aircraft.

Love those State Police choppers

@Bruce Graham, the uploader has no choice about the make and model that gets listed. He chose the correct ICAO type designator (A139) and FA picks one of the 14 make/model combinations that code applies to for the display name.

Me too Allen! As a retired FL LEO, the duty never leaves even though I left the duty.

I personally think it's time for Doug to stop counting pictures and just allow the rest of us to enjoy them in peace !

I agree with Doug. This is almost exactly the same picture posted two rows higher. Why take up space with duplicates?

@mccallk the editors choose what they consider to be the best photos posted in the past week for the newsletter. None are automatically included.
