I wonder if there are people out there that won't fly on it because it displays the American flag.

I might fly on it because it does.

The critique of ‘flagism’ as I’ve heard it called is that some businesses,some citizens and politicians basically wrap themselves up in patriotism displays such as our flag (some would say Trump was a paradigm example) as a way to flaunt something that they don’t necessarily deserve…(such as Trump’s so called ‘flat feet’ reason for not enlisting). Can’t recall the author, but someone said about politicians overly ostentatious use of national symbols was in reality ‘the last refuge of the scoundrel’. I personally don’t believe this is true of SW Airlines, but do think it probably applies to some folks.

Speaking from Oz, that's a great livery. Fabulous display of patriotism, something a lot of other countries could do well to emulate - that includes here. Numerous railroads did similar things on their locomotives for the US bicentenary and most of them looked fantastic. Again, patriotism. You are a very proud nation and not afraid to show it.

Maybe the ones that won't fly on it because of the flag would like the Ukraine better? Or they can pick which country is better than the USA and go there to live. Love the plane, love the flag, love the USA! 🇺🇸
