Cessna 310 (N7531Q)
Comments
Jose - you have a "typo" on your FAA registration number... but this is one very nice looking Cessna 310Q by the way!
Thanks for sharing your photo with us!!!
I believe the "Q" was the very last of the short nose 310 model built by Cessna.

Thanks for pointing out the typo. It’s corrected now. The Q model was the last of the short-nose 310’s ending production in 74 and the R model “long-nose” beginning in 75. 7531Q has a colemill conversion as well sporting IO-520’s as opposed to the factory IO-470’s.
Jose - You are very welcome and thanks for the added info regarding your superb Cessna 310Q! She's quite a great looking aircraft!!!
Pretty! My favorite light twin.
Nice. Brings me back to my youth watching Sky King (C-310C) on TV.
Thanks for all of you kind comments. I've really enjoyed flying this airplane over the past many years. Regarding this photo, it was taken during take off roll out of Tara Field adjacent to the Atlanta Motor Speedway. A friend of mine had tickets to the race and I decided that it would be much more fun and easier to fly to the race and walk over. That's opposed to sitting in traffic for several hours getting there and then again getting home. If memory serves, it took us about 15 minutes to get there and around 20 to get back home. :)
It's also memorable since I got ramp checked that day by the local FAA field office. :)
