Antonov An-2 (LY-ABY)

Picture almost looks like a painting instead of a photo, interesting, had to look at it twice.

Sat in the cockpit of an AN-2 once. Everything about it is massive. The size is almost overwhelming. A cool experience.

I love that picture! It is artistic. It looks dynamic. It so captures the spirit and powerful utility of the aircraft. A Ukrainian design, an instance manufactured in Poland, registered in The Czech Republic, and one of almost 12,000 built, is shown landing on an unimproved strip with conifers in the background. Few pictures capture the essence of the whole history of an aircraft's design as well. Kudos Hannu!

Well... Never mind on the "unimproved strip", I think that is likely Helsinki-Vantaa. I still love the pic!
