VH-PTG — - ANSETT AIR FREIGHT - LOCKHEED L188A ELECTRA - REG : VH-PTG (CN 1123) - ADELAIDE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT SA. AUSTRALIA - YPAD 12/6/1978.br /Ex Ansett Air Cargo VH-RMG. Seen here at Adelaide, presumably on one of its testflights out of Melbourne, prior to its sale to Evergreen. It was delivered to the USA (using ferry registration N2251A) shortly after this photo was taken. After arrival Evergeen quickly reregistered it to N5538. In 1983 this aircraft ended up with the Argentine Navy, where it was written off in 1989.
