This "BEAST" is a converted DC-10 to MD-11 Flight Deck. Other than looking up the tail number history, there is one easy way to determine if an AC is a prior DC-10. Anybody know how?

Winglets ?

MD-11 is longer has winglets and also has the squared off tail cone.

DC-10 has larger tail wings and its CF6-50s have big tailpipes. Also, DC-10-10s do not have the middle landing gear.
Robert, it is a MD10, no center gear and no winglets.
