N251AY — - This Boeing 767 has just arrived from St. Thomas, Virgin Islands (US) and will continue on to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil later as "the Gig flight," really flight #800 to GIG. See a previous picture of this aircraft for meaning of the flash of white light from the left wing. Open the photo and full and you can see the engine thrust reversers deployed and the wing spoilers "up." These devices helped to reduce the aircrafts ground roll, helping it to stop sooner and not wear out the wheel brakes as quickly. Thanks for looking.
