McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom 2 (07-0303)

WOW...
Great shot! Great Plane.
Amazing shot!
I love the livery!
Very nice shot and eye-catching paint job! I Googled it and appears to be Turkish flag graphics for recent celebration of 50 years of service of F-4 in Turkish Air Force
My first ride in an F-4 was at Patuxent River when we were testing a new Automated Landing System for the Marine Corps. I was sitting in the back seat monitoring the indicators while the pilot engaged the autoland feature. The closer we got to touchdown the worse the stick started to move between our legs trying to make corrections. I think I still have bruises from that evolution. Finally got it sorted out after a thorough investigation of how the radar was tracking the aircraft as it got closer to touchdown. Software mods eventually smoothed out the ride. Exciting times.
Great photo! Nice paint!
Phenomenal jet, but not one you’d ever want to dead-stick to the runway. Its glide slope rivals a 1975 Coke machine — bottles, not cans. The upgrades by Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI) and Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) turned this classic Phantom into a truly remarkable aircraft.
Thad bird looks beautiful. I worked on F4s at Ubon and Bentwaters/ Woodbridge Bases. Still have a few Phatom bites that show.
Beautiful shot of a truly classic fighter jet. Good one Roberto ! I would really like to know the story behind this photo. Correct Rick it looks like Turkish AF.
@Michael Ferrand - Literally LOL.
