BOEING 777-300 (JA780A)

Persistance paid off. If at first you don't succeed, try, try, and try again. I just barely missed this aircraft arriving. I saw it in the distance, and it landed before I got to the airport. I then missed it again when it took off from a different runway than I was anticipating. Well, about an hour later, flight 1, IAD-NRT, did an air return, and the third time was the charm. Here you see it sliding down final for 1-R. Not sure why it did the air return, probably mx. I think it left about 4-5 hours later...probably with a new crew.
