I could be wrong but I don't think that's a 172 ;)
The "Registration/Tail #" of "N19999" is tripping up FlightAware's data system. That number is assigned to a Cessna 172M. But as we all know, the photo uploader, Pat Leeds, was standing in the cockpit of a Douglas C-133A Cargomaster, USAF s/n 56-1999!
Not a Skyhawk. Aircraft is Douglas C-133A 56-1999 now at the Travis AFB Air Museum in No. CA. Last flying C-133 flown from Anchorage, AK for Travis display. California. Flew approx. 1100 hours on Travis C-133's as Loadmaster. Most exciting, and sometimes scary times of my life. I took the cockpit picture.
Thanks Pat! Presuming the wheel atop the coaming and above the engine instruments is for rudder trim???
