PAPA 51 Thunder Mustang (N151CR)
Plenty of action on the first day of the 2019 Pylon Racing Seminar at Reno Stead Airport in preparation for the 2019 National Championship Air Races just three months from now. In this click, "Clas Thunder One," a Thunder Mustang, is going airborne as the second of a group of Sport Class aircraft that are about to circle the course to become familiar with the location of the pylons and the route of the Sport Class Course. One of the outer pylons is visible in the distance.

Perfect weather yesterday for the first day of the PRS. Temps today are predicted to get into the mid 90s, so it will be quite warm at RTS. Tomorrow will be a bit less warm as temps are supposed to get up to the mid 80s; however, it is also supposed to be very windy tomorrow.
