LOCKHEED C-5 Super Galaxy (86-0017) - Assigned just one month ago to Travis AFB; in fact, so recently that it still displays a Dover AFB tail flash, this Lockheed C5M Super Galaxy awes a crowd of 85,000 people as it completes a demo flight.  This flight took place on Saturday, May 3rd.  The two-day show, which also featured an appearance by the USAF Thunderbirds, came to a tragically early conclusion earlier today, May 4, with the fatal crash of a performer.
