Boeing B-52 Stratofortress (57-6476)
Not much doubt as to what type of aircraft this throttle console belongs to --- the eight throttle handles, the drag chute deployment handle, the bomb doors switch, and the two (wing)tip gear lights can only mean that this is a section of Stratofortress cockpit.
This came from a B-52G (57-6476). I last saw the entire aircraft intact - and on "active duty" - in the 1980s when both 57-6476 and I were stationed at Loring Air Force Base (42nd Bombardment Wing - Heavy) in northern Maine. I retired in '89; this BUFF "retired" to AMARC on 2 Nov 93. Obviously, the cockpit survived but the frame is now just soda and beer beverage cans (and maybe a few highway guardrails).

If only I had a camera back pre 1964............at BFI.
