Boeing 747-400 (N182UA) - Another Queen is no longer in the skies. While on FA yesterday (7 Apr), I noticed that exactly one month ago, on 7 Mar 2017, UAs N182UA made her final flight when she went from SFO to Tupelo. Sad to see another 747 finish its career.br /My snap here of N182UA was clicked a few years back at SFO as my flight was taxiing to a gate. My pic of it had been taken only weeks after it had made an emergency landing back at Sydney, Australia, after taking off on a YSSY-KSFO trip in 2013.

It was while I was viewing recent photo posts by FA member Darryl Sarno that I discovered his 2008 photos of this B744 and I remembered seeing a notice that it had recently been WFU by UA. Sure enough, when I checked the reg on FA, it showed N182UA flying from San Francisco to KTUP to end her flying days. Thank you, Darryl, for posting your pictures of it at KBOS back in 08. And PS to all viewers ... Check out Darryl's photos. In his photos, N182UA is in the old Blue Tulip livery.
