Boeing 737-800 (N834NN)
As reflected on the nose, a very small portion of the top of the sun is still just barely shining a few last rays of direct light over the rapidly-darkening airport grounds as American's N834NN covers the final two thousand feet of flight before touching down on runway 16R.
Comments
The faint shadow of the starboard winglet seen on the fuselage also indicates how very little sunlight was still shining as the sun was setting behind the Sierra Nevada. My temporary spotting position on Bravo taxiway (which is parallel to 16R and also next to it) meant I was able to get many close shots as it approached and went past, but immediately after this one landed I had to relocate to Kilo because this American was going to be taxiing back to the terminal via Bravo.
sweet glide and angle. Where did that huge building on the left come from? Haven't been to RNO since 2007.5'in it.
Hiya, Alien. (Wave) That's the other tower of the Nugget. It has been there quite a long time. Either you missed seeing it when you were here or perhaps you just didn't recognize it from this perspective.
