Per Cirium: This 2005 Robinson R44 received substantial damage in a crash on Dec. 29, 2021. It crashed on a heavily wooded hillside about 15 miles east northeast of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The accident happened in daylight (1437L) but in very poor weather. The helicopter was operating from Gatlinburg-Pigeon Forge Airport. The pilot was killed and 1 passenger injured.
