I used to live about 2km from the old Canadair plant in Montreal. When I was a kid, we used to see CL215s flying over our house all the time. This is a great photo, brings back memories for me!
Gilles Lavigneur, J'ai habite au Rue Millar, pres des Rues Decarie et Poirier - environs 2km de Canadair! Entre 1956 et 1968. Peut etre nous sommes voisins? LOL! (excuse my bad French, je suis anglophone - a YYZ maintenant) LOL!
Un de mes hydravions préférés... dommage qu'il ne se fabrique plus à Montreal...Maintenant beaucoup de gouvernements en ont besoin et on s'en aperçoit.
