Douglas DC-3 (N229GB) - Shown here in the Autumn of 2018 is the Port side of a Naval Air Transport Service Douglas R4D-6 Aircraft.br /R4D is the Naval Designation of a Douglas DC3 Airliner. Note the curtains on the windows. Currently in restoration at the MAAM facility at the KRDG Airport. Built for the Navy at the Kansas City Douglas assembly line in November 1944.br /The serial number does not include the letter "N".
