Boeing 747-400 (TF-AMI)
Shown here on approach to JFK is a 1992 ASL Belgium Boeing 747-412 operated by Air Atlantic Aviation in the Autumn of 2019.

Seen your comment on James "Magma 747" which is a nice catch. I hooked my own "Magma Senator" off the coast of Monmouth County NJ recently which was about 8 minutes away from arriving at JFK that I now have uploaded for viewing. First time I have seen this particular aircraft.

Nice shot! I uploaded a few more recently of the Magma 747, and was lucky she was right in front of me on RWY 35R in CYYC. What focal length/lens/camera did you use to get this, @warmwynds? Cheers!

Here is the info on the MAGMA pass.
Location Sandy Hook NJ beach and at that point, it was 18 miles from JFK at 2700 feet/254 MPH with just about 7 minutes of flight time remaining in a northeast direction. The camera is a Panasonic DC-Fz80 18 megapixel. On Maunual @ F5.6 / 1/800 sec with focal length 164m. MY guess is that I was with a mile at that location. This camera has a ton of built-in zoom. So I am approaching 4000 photos on this site and you're the first to ask for these details. No problem and thanks for the comment.
