Piper Cherokee (N7956W) - KSJC - World famous Pilot Steve Picatti at San Jose Airport in May 1975. We( ex wife and I) had to wash and wax the Cherokee before we got to go flying. This was the 1st time I flew a single engine plane for about 1-hr over the SFO bay area and was headed for 30L when an airliner became an issue on approach and Steve took over the controls. This was a blast. Steve was a Santa Clara Co Firefighter at the time, and I was a Volunteer Firefighter at the same station. ex is Barbara on the left.
