Boeing Dreamlifter (N780BA) - KPAE - I used to travel San Jose CA to Everett WA to visit my father years ago, I drove it all in one day 16hr drive. After checking in with Dad, we'd load him in the Van and take him for a drive as he was legally blind, but could see enough to know what was happening. This is one of my 1st sightings of the 747LCF at Everett. Years later I found out this was originally delivered as a 747-400 to China Airlines as B-162. I didn't know this at the time, but I have photos of B-162 on FA under my posts. I edited that photo to show it is now the 747LCF. Ya never know what you'll see at Boeing Everett. After this, it was down to Mukilteo and Ivars Fish and Chips and watch the Washington State Ferries at the Dock,,,,too much fun! This photo July 2006.

Now it is YOU who was Lucky. Great find!! And I had to chuckle when I read your comment , "Ya never know what you'll see at Boeing Everett." Because that is how I felt a decade or so back when I stopped at BFI. Parked in the M of F lot near the fence. Only had about an hour to spare spotting there. But an hour later, my head was spinning. Waiting for something , anything , to appear .... and here comes a Wedgetail. I snap it departing and hear a noise. Turn around and an AWACS is flaring to touch right in front of me. Snapping away on it and hear a noise and turn around and here comes a pure white MD with no markings except a reg. I'd seen it before - it was the jailbirds "jail bird," sometimes referred to by us in Reno as "Con Air," the federal prisoner transport. I click away on it and here comes an ATAC warbird. Then a privately owned 727. All within an hour. It was like an airshow. So when I saw where you said, "Ya never know what you'll see at Boeing Everett," I immediately memory-jolted back to my virgin visit to BFI. Man, I gotta go back.
