From Joe Baugher's published information, this Republic F-84F Thunderflash is USAF s/n 52-7421. Joe adds this additional info...

"7421 on static display with Yankee Air Force, Ypsilanti, Michigan. On loan from USAF Museum."

Thanks Cliff for the suggestion!

Bartolomeo... you are most welcome and thanks for sharing your photo with us!

You might try re-entering the complete USAF serial number (registration) again and substitute a hyphen (-) for that zero (0).

Joe Baugher's information also indicates this Thunderflash came from a block of 27 aircraft. He provided details on 5 of those...

Three (3) went to the Aeronautica Militare (Italian Air Force): 52-7407, 52-7408, and 52-7425.

Another, 52-7409, is on display: "7409 noted Apr 2004 on display at ANG Gate, Birmingham IAP, Alabama painted as 51-11279".

The Air National Guard also flew the F-84F Thunderflash from Key Field, Meridian, MS, with the 153rd Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron of the 186th Tactical Reconnaissance Group, MS ANG, from approximately 1962 thru 1970.

Thanks again...I've now added the link to the Joebaugher page in the description.
Although, despite several tried, I still cannot find a suitable code for "Aircraft Type" and "Airline" fields...

Bartolomeo... thanks for the link to Joe Baugher's information regarding the Republic RF-84F Thunderflash!

Someone will likely be along soon and provide a suitable code for "Aircraft Type". I am not certain that one will exist for "Airline".

A good friend of mine used to work on the RF-86F Thunderflash at the Key Field ANG base back in the day. He always complained about how under-powered this aircraft was.

And "RF" is the correct USAF aircraft type prefix... thanks for including that... something I missed. It is, after all, a "recee" bird!!!
