I'm going to start off by saying that I mean no disrespect to anyone's comments here and that you are entitled to your opinion of the photo. First off I think that this one is a really good photo and I'm giving it a full five stars. I think that cutting off the wings in the shot was a great idea because it allowed him to get a closeup shot of the body of the plane which in my opinion is cool and something a little different than what everyone else does. Next, it's not a blurred photo, it might look that way in the default size but if you blow it up to full you will see that it is a completely focused shot.

Floatonaboat, at the end of the day Mathias posts a lot of positive comments on a lot of photographer's photos and the positive comments easily outnumber the negative ones. While I don't agree with him saying that this one is a "bad" photo at least he stated why he believes it's not a good photo which I greatly respect because a lot of times people will just give photos bad ratings without posting a comment about it.

agreed, but i think he could have been a lot less blunt about it, and said something like" nice photo, but maybe zoom out so we can see the wings" or something like that.
johntalley1
again, no disrespect to Mathias, but this photo is not blurred at all, he is wrong on that.

Outstanding shot! I agree with Mark, the closer in shots can be very interesting! I personally favor the close in shots.
